		<description><![CDATA[I think work experience is helpful and you should explain that in your personal statement.  You can absolutely still contact professors and explain that you did not have guidance or the opportunity at your university to do research.  If you are thinking of programs close to where you live, you could see if you could work with some graduate level professors on their research.  Either way, don&#039;t be afraid to contact people at the schools you want to attend!  :)  They will understand if you have no research experience.  Let me know if you have any other questions!]]></description>
